You ever get the feeling that most people don’t give a fuck about anyone? Or anything beautiful?
I was telling someone about driving through red tunnels of rock in New Mexico and how the sun splattered against them and opened up into more open road on the other side and all I wanted at that moment was to not be in my car.
My amazing, lovely, and hardworking boyfriend got a pretty sweet raise at his job, and my best friend is going through maybe one of the hardest things you can ever hear. I’m so extremely proud of both of them in such different ways.

A couple of my friends who moved to Seattle called me the other night at 2AM (which is only 11PM there). I was sleeping and thought they had just misdialed but turns out they wanted to ‘facetime’. Too bad I don’t have an iPhone. I miss them a lot. :(
