Things about today...
1. I’m learning at a rapid pace that international music is becoming one of my passions. Some of the countries I’ve studied have become some of my favorite types of music, or maybe I’m just getting tired of the same old bullshit music I hear every day.

One of the things I love most about Chris and me is that most of the time I still feel like I’m 14 and I just met him. Sometimes I look at him and giggle and say “I can’t believe you’re you”.

I’m really quite over this whole Snooki at Rutgers thing. Not because of the reason everyone else is butthurt, but because I can’t usually get behind people getting so worked up about most things that don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. I would be willing to bet that more than half of the people who are getting all up-in-arms about Toni Morrison getting paid less...

I really can’t describe how comforted the sound of crickets makes me feel. I think it hawks back to my old room, where I was on the second floor, but also on the ground because of the hill my house was built into. So, I’m a really big fan of instant gratification, and so I am now the owner of recently posted guitar. I’m a little too excited for it to come, and also a little too excited for Chris to teach me.
This past weekend+1/2 was quite lovely. (Again, these recaps are more or less for my recollection when I want to look back; I know they must be incredibly boring to whomever reads this.) Wednesday I spent an hour or so with Sam but my migraine got the best of me and I had to leave early.
