So I don’t usually do the whole “year end recap!” type of thing, but this year was kind of epic. Epicly amazing, epicly bad, all of it. I saw Jimmy Eat World twice, once being not ten feet away from them, Death Cab at the same distance, sang onstage with the Bouncing Souls, watched Weezer and the Flaming Lips play on the same stage at the same time, and went crazy at Metallica...

A friend of mine that I used to work with makes really good music. I was actually shocked the first time I heard it. His stuff prior to this was more Algernon Cadwallader-ee which I loved but this is a little slower and prettier. Really good stuff.
