I grimaced and without hesitation, turned the song off that my speakers were vomiting up from 92.3 NOW. As I tuned into 104.3 and got lost in “All Along the Watchtower” (arguably my favorite cover along with Metallica’s “Turn the Page”) I thought I must certainly have been born in the wrong decade.
Weather like this ALWAYS reminds me of the night we got snowed in at Andy’s. Tonz, Ian, Jill, and me all snowed in drinking in his basement. We must have been 17. We slept in Craig’s bed and the next morning Andy somehow made it to work at the mall. We all just hung out at his house until about twilight when Jill and I walked down to my house in the sparkly, quiet night.

One thing I really like about myself is that I am fascinated by everything.
I want the “Summertime Clothes” era back. When people weren’t shitty friends because of their job, when people actually wanted to hang out, and when instead of talking about how much they miss things, they just stuck around for a while. I just want winter to be over because maybe people will go back to normal. Hopefully.
